Sea Turtle was founded by a family in Cypress, California. As parents, we found our children destroyed toothbrushes in a days! We knew there had to be a better way. Our journey lead us to create the Sea Turtle Bamboo Toothbrush.

How Do I Dispose Of My Toothbrush?

Recycle or compost in your green bin! If you don’t have one, dispose them in your garbage. The toothbrush will break down including the bristles.

What Is The Best Way To Prevent Mold?

To maintain the toothbrushes’ bio properties, no varnish was added to its natural water resistant surface. It is recommended to completely dry your toothbrush before storing to minimize mold.

Sea Turtle Plant-Based Bristles are made from 100% Castor Oil, also known as Nylon 1010. Its benefits include mechanical strength and its ability to break down.

Plant-Based Bristles – USDA Bio-Preferred (#65739). Our Bamboo Toothbrushes have bristles that are 100% plant based, derived from castor beans! The chemical compound is Nylon 1010 which is a bio-based polymer extracted from castor oil. It has excellent mechanical properties such as strength, high melting point, and compact melting point.
Natural Bamboo – Our bamboo is heat treated to minimize splinter. We source only premium bamboo from approved sustainable suppliers. Shop confidently knowing more trees are put back on our planet!
